Hello

My name is Clive Tonge and I am an award-winning writer/director living in Northern England.

I am also a composer and sound designer.

This site showcases some of my work and provides updates on my current projects.

About Me

After an immense variety of jobs, some years on the road in a band (we played Glastonbury once) and a few years in education, I finally found what I wanted to do.

Combining images and sounds to tell stories, I found I could connect with and entertain people. And that is the most important thing of all. Since this realisation I have not stopped making films & have no intention of stopping either.

My Goals

I am working towards directing a feature film and am currently co-writing two feature projects as we speak. I will direct both.

One is an animated feature ‘Miina and the Thief of Shadows’ (co-writer Rachel Mathews) with Lynchpin Productions - http://lynchpin.org/

The other is a horror film ‘Mara’ I’m co-writing with Jonathan Frank (The Tournamnt). Scott Mann (Mann Made Films) & James Barker (http://www.venerationmusic.com/) are producing.
